[We are aware of lagging issues on browser with some machines during the first playthrough. If it is bad for you please consider the desktop version, which did not seem to have these issues in our testing]

"Breaking news! A flying saucer has been spotted in the city! To make matters worse, the oceans have risen and volcano activity has increased! Wait, shouldn't the aliens attacking!? In a shocking reversal, they're re-organising our city to protect us!"

With the theme of 'Role Reversal', we wanted to explore this in a number of ways. Most obviously, instead of attacking the city, the UFO is here the save the city. But from a design point of view, we wanted to take the idea of a city management game, and flip it so that the city has already been built and the player instead is trying rearrange it whilst under time pressure. This also plays like a backwards Tetris, where you start with all the block shapes on the board and the speed is determined by how fast you can act.

Again, due to the nature of a 48 hour GameJam, this game may have bugs! Currently, we are aware of lag spikes on browser for some machines, and playing the download version should fix this.

Is this game supposed to be black? It might be buggy :(
By the way I love the voiceacting and the title screen with the newspaper tutorial!

Oh, did it not load properly? It is meant to be monochrome, if that's what you mean? I'm glad you like the tutorial though! :
